Mathematics Summer 2005 Institute
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION* Alaska Partnership for Teacher Enhancement (APTE)Math InstituteJuly 11-15 and July 18-22, 2005 Travel days: July 10th and July 23rd, 2005 Classes begin at 8:30am each day Classes will be held at the UAA Commons in Room 106 Click here for the map to the Commons Continental Breakfast will be served at 8:00am on Monday, July 11th To Apply: Print and complete application (see below), then fax your application to Jo at 786-4318. Call 786-4306 if you have any questions. APTE 2005 SUMMER CONTENT INSTITUTE APPLICATION FORM HERE Funded Enrollments All Content Institute enrollment slots are fully funded. Eligible participants will have the following costs covered: registration fees, *credit tuition/fees), course materials, food, lodging, and travel between their school site and the institute site. Participants will also receive a stipend to cover miscellaneous expenses. *Please note: Participants will receive three Professional Development Credits. These credits will not apply towards an Associates or Bachelors degree. Eligible participants Eligible, funded participants may include teachers, para-educators and any position (as approved by APTE) within APTE Partner schools (Abbott Loop, Campbell, Chinook, Kasuun, Mountain View, Spring Hill, Taku, Trailside, Tyson William, Williwaw, Wonder Park, Central, Mears, Mirror Lake, Wendler, Bartlett, Dimond, East, Service, South), Professional Development Schools (PDS) (Akiachak, Chevak and Nelson Island Area Schools), and any school within the APTE Partner School Districts (Anchorage, Kashunamiut, Lower Kuskokwim and Yupiit). Principals and Assistant Principals in the above identified schools are also invited and they are eligible for a stipend this year. Priority Order for Enrollment Open enrollments will be filled according to the following priority order: 1) Teaching staff (teacher or para-educator) in an APTE
Secondary Partner School or Rural Professional
Development School (PDS) attending their first Content
Institute. Schedule:
